Often when we buy a party dress to sparkle and look for that detail that says party. Sometimes it is worth taking a leaf out of Kate Middleton's book and thinking demure. Demure party dressing is all about gliding through the occasion. Put it another way if you get too tipsy, spill a drink or fall alseep in a corner better to do it in an understated dress than full on bling, because the full on bling dress is a photo opportunity! With the demure dress you will have all the credentials of a tipsy Audrey Hepburn not a TOWIE extra.
Also you can wear it again and again. I'm very much in favour of wearing again and again when it comes to any purchase. Keep the accessories to a minimal, a pair of earrings and a cocktail ring.
