Choo or Louboutin that is the question

Although liberated from my no frittering challenge, I intend to stay focused and save up to get a peachy pair of shoes for my graduation ceremony in July at the Royal Festival Hall. I'm torn between these two pairs. What would you recommend Choo or Louboutin?

  1. I think the Choo's have nicer lines to them, look at that soft curve at the back - fabulous. On the other hand if you are going to spend that amount of money and you want people to know (or is that just me?!) I'd go for the Laboutins.

  2. Ha ha I spelt Louboutins wrong - I am ALL class.

  3. I have to say the Louboutins, I prefer the colour and the heel xx Enjoy

  4. Make Do Kate this is a tough tough choice...have you tried them on? Will you just go with the cheapest? Would you consider a (crosses self) sort of low end cheapish imitation? Happy Easter.

  5. Oooh tough. I agree with Faux Fushcia I would try them both on to help my decision but on looks the Louboutins. Nicer colour and I prefer the slightly higher heel.

However I would get the Choo's because J is shorter than me and heels bigger than the Choo's don't work. Plus then I feel smug when my feet are comfy in my kitten heels while everyone else is bitching in their big heels :)

  6. Cybil - class is all about misspellings! And not caring a jot...

Wildernesschic - it is sooo hard to choose, shame can't buy both!

  7. Faux Fuchsia - 2 hail Mary's for thinking such a thing!!

Wife in City - That's exactly my thoughts but I think I do need to try them both on - shame visit to the shopsxx

  8. Assuming this is not an April Fool - the Louboutins, definitely. The hint of the red sole just gives them the edge.

  9. The Louboutins definately, you cant beat that red flash. I also personally find Choo's a bit to narrow.

  10. I would go for Choo's as its a great heel height - rememember you will be doing a lot of standing at your graduation! But the Loubs are pretty fab too only buy some red shoe polish to re-polish the soles after wearing them. x

  11. Both are nice. Personally, I'd go with the lower heel, think you'd be able to wear it more, but it really depends on how they feel on.

  12. I always go for the higher heel personally -- sex it up a bit!

  13. They're both lovely, but I think I'd go for the Louboutins. I've also read that Jimmy Choos can be quite uncomfortable, but have no first hand knowledge on either :-(

  14. If you are going to wear a red dress, go for the Louboutins as the sole will look so nice!

  15. Great choices, although I love those red soles, it gives the shoes the extra withouth being to much. Personally I like CL better than JC, but thats just how my feet are. An award is waiting for you at my blog:-)

  16. Ooh difficult one - though I'm tempted by the lower heel Choos, I might have to say the Louboutins?

Well done on the girly-nomics No Fritter Challenge!

  19. Louboutins def! I prefer a higher heel - esp. with a neutral colour.

  20. Shoegal - Choo or Louboutin is not April Fools material!!

  21. Louboutin's for me. I love the contrast between the neutral upper and the red sole :) Never thought I'd like a shoe that colour, but it looks very sexy.

  22. Since they are both chic I would advise you to buy the shoe that is the most comfortable.

  23. I'd say Loubs too. Not feeling a kitten heel at the top end. xx

  24. I'd go with the LB's I always like a bit of height - I'm 5 3" so those extra inches always count!

  25. I Choos the Loubs (to add to the confusion).

  26. whichever are more comfortable ....since they are similar in style ...although I hear kitten heals are making a huge comeback so maybe the Choos.

  27. Gargh... dont ask such questions!! I would have to say the Louboutin's.. it's the red sole every time. Plus I'm earmarking a pair almost the same for my birthday in May! x

  28. Have you made up your mind yet?!

My personal opinion is that I prefer the heel shape on the Choos, butI like the higher heel on the Louboutins.

Overall I think I'd go with the Louboutins just because if I'm going to spend that much on shoes I'd like the red sole to announce it to the world ;)

  29. I have to go for the Louboutins.... that red sole just shouts out hot! classy! red carpet! star!

  30. Choos are classy, Loubs are classy with flash. And is this ceremony going to involve a commencement robe? That may require some flash!
