Yes, yes I know I was meant to be discussing blogging & marketing today but honestly I've been exhausted since Monday's post.
Instead I've decided to address the forthcoming cold weather. It isn't quite here yet not well and truly that is. Teawithonesugarplease and I have discussed our cold spots via Twitter as you do. She suffers with her toes and I suffer with my neck. I can't abide a draught and love a polo neck on the basis it offers some protection but regardless of their coming fashion credentials this season I can't live in one.
How handy is this then from Toast. I love a snood...
Yep, got to have snoods, scarves and roll necks at the ready! I suffer with my calves/ankles getting chilled, especially in work skirts (I wear teenage style knee-socks under trousers shhh) so am looking for some knee high lined boots...
ReplyDeleteI work from home on a webcam and today I have on a pair of cashmere lounge pants and a cashmere vest with Ugg slippers all under a wrap dress - if only my customers could see more than a passport view! I bought a fab snood type thing from Maxmara last week, it is faux fur leopard and very glam but not quite cold enough yet to wear indoors (although if the price of oil doesn't come down it may come to coat and hat!)x
ReplyDeletelooks great for cold weather. i'm not quite ready for fall / winter.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what my cold spot is, but with the current hot flushes, I may never find it! Expect me to be sitting indoors naked whilst there are 10 inches of snow outside, its that bad!
ReplyDeleteTee hee I was looking at Toast this morning and thinking .....???? I am a wuss and have the central heating ON
ReplyDeleteI love the colour, I love dressing for autumn rather than summer so cannot wait to dig out my winter stuff. xx PS thanks for the comment on Robbie Williams, you're absolutely right!
ReplyDeleteWell you know I love me a snood...and this post has almost got me looking forward to digging mine out again! xx
