From now until December I'm going to select a dress a day for the party season. All will be different and fulfil or suit different preferences and tastes. I will give you hints and tips for who the dress will suit and how to wear it.
My first pick is very understated and doesn't shout paaarty. It is from the kew.159 range and is a crepe tunic dress in charcoal. It has all the look of refinement and understated elegance for those of you who prefer to be ...well more understated. Not everyone wants that wow dress. This dress will work way after the last of your festive season engagements.
You can dress this up with heels, chunky statement bracelet and some bling earrings. A metallic clutch will complete the look. Equally a long necklace and a cocktail ring with knee high heeled boots will work for a evening out which isn't a party.
It is a great dress for anyone who hates their arms or worries about their tummy area as the sleeves and belt as a bow take the pressure off.
I love the shape of this dress, very flattering! I would wear it with some extra sparkly earrings.
ReplyDeleteHi my dear-a lovely lbd, very versatile and stylish! xx
ReplyDeleteYum, this one's gorgeous and looks very 1950s. Want it!!! xo
ReplyDeleteThe dress is gorgeous but any fitting at the waist is generally not flattering on H shapes like mine. I shall admire from afar...
ReplyDeleteI love how romantic this dress is.
