Dressing up those dresses

A slight departure from the dresses today as someone asked me how to dress a dress up. I thought I would go for a all that glitters is gold look which is often the easiest most effective way to dress a dress up.

I have had my gold clutch which I bought in Zara in Prague for six years. It never fails me. Go get a gold clutch I say. I steer away from gold shoes with my gold clutch - obvs! However I've just invested in a pair of gorgeous gold plated ones to replace my tarnished faux gold Dorothy Perkins ones which I got for £6.

I've selected 2 clutch bags and shared the secret of my earrings (coughs 'because you can buy them off me').

    I love the warehouse bag - a clutch and some big earrings are always the best way to liven up a dress. accessories stay with me for an age, dresses I am a bit more fickle with! xxx

    I swear by silver! I have a silver clutch I've owned for years- so timeless and versatile but being metallic just shouts 'glam'.

    my views on a clutch are well known- I luff them. MDS I am struggling to stay glam in this 36 degree heat. My slap melts off my face! Wish I was facing a cold Christmas. x
