The petit garcon and I were watching the new Scooby Doo cartoons (he loves Daphne and Scooby) when I was transported back to a time and place with Plastic Bertrand's Ca Plane Pour Moi. It was actually used in the cartoon to accompany those pesky kids capering around.
I can't actually download the video for some technical reason I cannot fathom so here is the link to the video on YouTube
What is it with the French this week they are dominating my life!
Some great memories of the time that song was a hit!
ReplyDeleteI also cannot link video I dont have the tab, but some blogspot blogs must have ???
ReplyDeleteOh, that's one of my faves!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it, but it makes me feel old!
ReplyDelete(Sorry I've been such a weak commenter, Kate. I'm getting back into it.)
He even looks like Freddy with his scarf LOL!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I crack up when we watch this video. It's so funny.
ReplyDeleteI must admit, if I'm slicking through channels and Scooby Doo is on I always watch. It's always so easy to guess who the bad guy is - and I like to be right! xxx
ReplyDeleteI meant flicking, but slicking is good too, no?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking 'slicking' could be a new description for dressing up, e.g. 'I'm totally slicking'...maybe not!
ReplyDeleteI say, if something's gotta take over your life, it might as well be the French.
ReplyDeleteI have an outfit (which I love) that's so Thelma, it's scary.
Oh, and I had a "nightmare" last night: I went to this popular TO shop (Mendocino) and bought 3 tops on mega-sale, forgetting that I was not supposed to buy! Then I got my husband to buy them for me. Still, I knew I'd "failed". Not fun sleepy-time.
You know who I couldn't stand? Scrappy Doo. What the hell!
