Ben, the two of us need look no more...

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightening they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a gree bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sung the sun in flight,
And learn too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

  1. It is so sad to look at photos of Michael as a child, if only he could have stayed more like that.
Both stories are very sad. But I'm not actually that shocked about Michael's death.

  2. Coco - I choose that photo as I can't really identifiy with what he became and like you I'm not shocked by his death nor have I shed a tear but I felt he deserved recognition as a once amazing singer/artist/performer. Both MJ and Farah were also style icons.

  3. A very sad day yesterday. My sister has been a lifelong MJ fan and was so excited this year when she actually got tickets to see him - she rang me in absolute shock last night :(
