That dress has your name written all over it, I can just imagine how fab you'd look in it. I've always toyed over black walls but chickened out and painted my bedroom charcoal instead. xxx
You know I've been trying to stop buying buying black clothes and haven't for about two years or so but most of the time I look a mess - life was easier in black, everything went together and I could leave the house looking pulled together in 5 minutes flat - hmm may rethink this!
Some of my favouritest dresses are black, it doesn't have to equal boring. That said, it's too much of a cliche for too many people these days so I usually end up going for something a bit more...red ;) Oh the dilemma!!
If someone gave me a beautiful black tutu like that, I'd definitely find an occasion on which to wear it. Probably a New Romantic night...
I was just reading Grazia declairing black was out for next season what crap they are paying these women to write!! Black will never be out of fashion. not to mention I spotted it countless times on the runway. I love black more than any colour it is always perfect! Cant wait to see black swan x
I LOVE black walls. It always makes a house look so elegant. Black doors too, with gold doorknobs. And black floors! (note: not all at teh same time, obviously) x
Dear Kate, God I love black! I wish I was brave enough to paint my walls black. Giles has a black bedroom with a chandelier he made from big chunks of Swarovski crystal - it looks fabulous.
I've always thought there should be something black in every room - even if it's just lampshades. I've stuck to that rule.
I'm trying to work out how to photograph my black dresses - could make for a very boring looking post if I don't get it right xx
Hurrah! For ages I was ribbed for wearing all black so often, and came to feel quite guilty about it. But now I've decided fabric and texture is everything - and you wear black beautifully. xx
Just imagine the dusting you'd have to do in the black room! Eek, doesn't bear thinking about. Espcially not for me, sharing my house with a fluffy ginger moggy.
I remember a hotel room painted black at the Hotel Borg in Iceland, done so in order that weary travelers could sleep during the days of extended light. . . But I was there in January, so light was more to my taste.
