Red dress night
All hail this years Oscars red carpet walk as it was truly red. Yes the return of the red dress signals attitude and new directions (whether for good or bad) and Sandra Bullock for one needed and worked the Vera Wang red dress on her red carpet walk. I love a red dress and feel it is rightfully re-established.

I do love a red dress although I thought Gwynnie looked amazing xx
ReplyDeleteI love red. It always works and does suit everyone (just choose the right 'tones'). It's a great way of making something look smart without revealing a lot of flesh or wearing a style that doesn't suit you.
ReplyDeletePerfect for red-carpet and regular wear!
Will I really let the side down by not recognising the person in the last photo? I don't like her dress - lovely colour but it's a bit casual for such a big event.
ReplyDeleteSandra looks v. glam in hers though.
I love Sandra Bullocks dress! Although i'm not a red dress wearer myself!
ReplyDeleteI love the red dresses, but I think only the first two work the last three not so much. Ive been seeing Oscards clips all day and I have no idea who half the people even are!!
ReplyDeleteThat last dress reminds me of the swimming costumes they wore on Baywatch!
ReplyDeleteI have found myself wanting a red dress recently. But a short version I can wear regularly. Love Oscar glamour. Xxxx
ReplyDeleteIf I was going to the Oscars I can't imagine wearing anything other than red. Going to the Oscars is definitely a red-letter/red dress day.
ReplyDeleteSandra B nailed this one for me. The last one (who is she?) is a bit Baywatch...
ReplyDeleteSandra is my fave. I do love a red dress xx
