Lots of press on the M&S bags suggest there might be something in going for a non leather bag to get fashion over quality. If you're a vegan or opposed to buying leather then this season's choice of bags are a winner.
I think M&S always do good bags, I normally buy a couple of non leather ones a year to have a change from my classic bags (one ysl that's about 6 years old, one longchamp about 3 years old and one LV, 9 years old)
You are right: it's great that there are so many choices for vegans out there now.
M&S are very good at giving great quality at a low price point, but my eco head makes me think that it's maybe better to save up for a piece that will last both fashion & quality wise for a few years. That being said: if you happen to need a purple patent bag, then why not buy this very stylish looking one?! LLGxx
My philosophy is to buy one good item--one pair of shoes or one fine bag--when you can afford it. But sometimes there's a great not-expensive item that has me throwing my philosophy to the wind . . .
If there is one thing I never go for its a cheap bag, I can sacrifice any thing else but not the bags LOL. It is a nice one though for a pop of colour!
I'm not too sure about non-leather bags. I always strive to buy the best that I can afford...! But totally understand the need for faux-leather for our vegetarian friends.
Hi there-Yes, M&S have a variety of lovely bags this seson, both leather and non leather-this is a lovely pick!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your deadline, I understand your working on getting 12000 words done, so keep focused and try and get some r&r time too, take care!
Very stylish adding those chain rings on the shoulder strap.

You get what you pay for, I guess, and you're not paying much. I don't care for it.

ReplyDeleteoh, and yes, I am studying at UCA!
ReplyDeleteI like the bag if it had a different handle. Something more substantial would be nice. But at that price you re lucky to get a handle.
