Fashion Targets Breast Cancer
In a move away from the rather putrid pink pieces and ubiquitous t-shirt (harsh I know but if you want people to buy make goods desirable) the FTBC campaign has gone all wonderfully black and white. Claudia Schiffer, Kylie Minogue and Sienna Miller have all posed for Mario Testino to appear in the advertising campaign to raise awareness and money from the 29th of March to the middle of May. I have to say Kylie looks super cute and her picture makes me smile.
The retailers taking part at M&S, Warehouse, Whistles, River Island, my-wardrobe, Topshop, Coast, Melissa Odabash, Superdry and Laura Ashley. When I say there is something for everyone I mean it! My favourite three items are the River Island Macrame trim vest and Tassle scarf plus Melissa Odabash's Tahiti tunic.

Wow - I love the white tunic. I just wish they did it in petite.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the lurid pink it used to put me off buying the items so I would make a donation direct. These look great I would go for the scarf. x
ReplyDeleteLove all the pieces in your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI wonder did Tory Burch design the Tunic I love her stuff x Going to look now xxx
ReplyDeleteI agree Kylie looks cute - but Time Warped! Hello girl, you are 6 months older than me and I was there when you sang the locomotion. (well I was on a train in Eastern Europe but I heard you on a contraband walkman being shared between the two Czech girls in our cabin)
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with looking like you had a 30+ year successful career and a serious illness. You survived Ky! Show it xx
I like the scarf - so much better than the t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteHammie - you amuse me so much particularly as you look at least 10 years younger than Kylie anyway (even with O2 top!) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the Odabash tunic too. So pretty, and for such a good cause!
ReplyDeleteI lurve the scarf and I think it would fit me too.
ReplyDeleteDef an improvement on pink tees, but Im still not keen on any, which makes me feel a bit mean as its for charity!
ReplyDeleteOh my lord I'm having minor palpitations over that Tahiti Tunic...I'm picturing myself on some sandy spot with blue ocean in the background...yum.
ReplyDeleteThat tunic dress is really pretty, I think it's great that there is such a range of beautiful clothes at all price points which is supporting cancer research too.
ReplyDeleteSo much better than a t-shirt!
ReplyDeleteit is very important!
ReplyDeleteFabulous pieces and cause!
