Maxi, Midi, Mini - sequinned dresses

The perfect party number for the festive season is the sequin dress. It adds sparkle and glow with minimal effort, just remember the sparkle on the dress is all you need! Keep everything matt even the red lips.

As usual go for broke with a designer number!

Tibi Layla Sequinned maxi dress £460.00 my-wardrobe.com

Hit the high street for blow out but definitely a keeper not just for this season only.

Karen Millen Strapless sequin dress £250

As usual cheap as chips from my987wardrobe if all you want to do is look nice for one day and save your pennies for presents.

  2. I love the Karen Millen one. Summer is the best time for 'thrifty' sequinned buys I think. This summer I managed to get a vintage Frank Usher black sequin skirt in a hospice shop for £3

  4. I like the Karen Millen one- I've spotted some nice sequin items in Monsoon for that 'in-between' high street price bracket (ie not £250, not under a tenner). Not that I'm snobby about the bargain one- I just haven't got the legs for it. ;) I have a Primark sequin-sleeve top I often break out for festive parties...

  5. I can almost guarentee you the gold maxi would look hideous on my body shape, but OMG I love it!!!

  7. I don't like the cheapest version, it's a bit too shapeless around the middle, but I love the other two.

  8. Dear Kate, the top one is stunning! Love it!! Can't afford it at all though. I shall have to recycle what I already have. Or wait and see if it goes on sale xx

I think the dress can use a gorgeous antique necklace!
