When Mulberry got too big for its...




....branding. I love a bit of Mulberry, nice leather good designs, proper British etc. etc. But of late I've noticed the products have been spoiled by the addition of a huge metal disc. Whilst I understand the importance of branding and the shouty nature of wearing a label, I feel the disc has grown in a godzilla way.

Take the gorgeous Daria clutch, it is completly spoilt by the magnitude of the disc. It is as if Mulberry have arrived late at the party 'hello we are here'. Please, pretty please reduce the disc take it down a notch or three!

  3. I buy nothing that is obviously logo'd. My particular pet hate is that self logo'd fabric that brands like Louis Vuitton, DKNY and others use.

  5. I agree. I loved the understated look of Mulberry pieces. The little tree logo is better than, say MARC BY MARC JACOBS is 150 point font splashed on a gold plaque, but I hate that so many lines feel they have to blatantly brand every item.

  6. Dear Kate, I never wear anything with an obvious label or branding. I have a Mulberry bag which I've been using solidly for two years. Mine thankfully has no huge gold disc xx
