Winter Wonderland and we're not talking Hyde Park

Door to door I live 15 miles south of Harrods. Guess what, as you stomp through the doors for some Christmas shopping, I'm snowbound and just thinking about digging the car out to get some provisions!

As I look outside my front door

Oh look more snow to the right!

Yesterday I took the garcon and some chums for a walk. The schools are still shut and I'm officially over kids and walks

But he does look cute all wrapped up!

I'm comforting myself with Doris Day as I can't be properly out and about!

  4. No snow in Blackpool yet and I'm really glad. Snow looks great the day it arrives but then I'm ready for it to be gone an hour later! Hope you managed to get out for more provisions!

  5. Surely Harrods do home delivery, otherwise what does one do when one runs out of Jimmy Choos in a snow storm?!
I LOVE that Doris Day movie, well actually I think I love all her movies and as an aside, she had one of the best figures of all time.

  7. Snow here but nothing's closed- it was quite quiet driving in to work because anyone coming in from the countryside can't come and is working from home! Unfortunately that meant pristine and slippery roads, boo!

  8. PG and pals are really quite impossibly cute in that photo!

It's ok up here - think we're too close to the coast to get any snow so it's just ice I need to worry about.

  13. Snow days are so much fun. My neighbourhood is all students, me including and people are taking it seriously this snow. They are literally skiing and snowboarding to shops and work and sledging down the hills! Oh fun times! :) I just don't want to think what will happen once the rain comes!

  14. Dear Kate, I love the snow as long as I don't have to go anywhere further than the local pub (under 5 mins walk to the best one).

All the schools round here are closed so I feel for anyone having to keep the kids amused.

I love Petit Garcon's coat and Doris has put me in the Christmas mood a little bit more xx

The Doris Day clip made my day. My grandmother adored her.

  19. Looks pretty surreal from my vantage point in Los Angeles. But any excuse to dress up the garcon is fine with me!
