Run fat girl run in style!

The sad facts are the after a month of snow and freezing conditions followed by a good old Christmas nosh and drink fest, Mrs MDS needs to get trim and shed the winter (fat) layer that is threatening to take over.

Of course I will be making do and wearing quite old stuff but if you fancy glamming up your sports wear then now is the time to grab a few bargains.

Adidas by Stella McCartney run satin-jersey top now £
25 at Net-A-Porter

Adidas by Stella McCartney studio lace insert leggings now £35 at Net-A-Porter

Next dig out your sturdy trainers start walking for 30 minutes a day, add in a swim and a dvd to do at home and by April you'll be ready for pedicure, fake tan and a nice summer frock. Anyone else care to join me!!

  2. I love the Stella range, I mean if your going to look all sweaty and gross may as well distract people with some stylish gear. I will be honest, the sheer thought of leaving the house for a run is really distressing, I am clinging onto my last 5 days of lazy before I have to face the reality that none of my summer clothes will fit!

  5. I limit my activity to swimming so I don't need any stylish jogging gear but I'm definitely on board with losing a few pounds. I've had a week off the diet and have totally overindulged, whoops!

  6. It's like you're reading my mind - I looked in the mirror this morning in horror! (OF course, when you sew - as you know - there is no avoiding the minutia of every .25 inch!)

  7. Wouldn't mind getting fit in that outfit, just need to eat the other half of the Turkey and the tin of Roses first!

  8. Dear Kate, the Stella stuff is lovely, not that I've ever worn it having never been to a gym.

I am planning on a bit of a health kick for January and The Actor bought me a Wii Fit!! Let's hope it doesn't gather dust under the TV.

I hope you're having a lovely break xx

  9. Haha and why is all the size 18 sold out? Because it's the same measurements as M&S size 14? Too tight too tight!!!

  10. Love the purple top. I can't believe how snowy the UK is- it's always on the news here. All is does these days here is torrentially rain...not good beach weather and ruinous for hair.xxxx

  11. I run and am a member of a running club and I've never seen anyone wear any of the Stella McCartney stuff. The girls in my running club are all fashion conscious but her stuff just looks wrong and uncomfortable. There are all sorts of extraneous bits and pieces in the wrong places. But presumably people must buy it as it's still being sold!
