Skirts are having a moment. The cut and length of skirts are at a key point in fashion where all lengths and all shapes are an option (if anything the thigh high short skirt is looking a tad dated). Take the pleated skirts wars as personified by Whistles.
The short
The long
Which one would you choose and what length of skirt do you prefer?
I love a knee length pencil skirt personally although I like the little flippy one to the knee.. Although they are fashionable.. I do not think I will be buying any as I have skirt love and then never wear them xx
ReplyDeleteVery feminine and pretty but neither really do it for me, I prefer either sweeping the floor or showing my knickers, they look a bit too grow-up for this 44 year old. xxx
ReplyDeleteI rather like them both. I do own a pleated midi and it surprised me that it does suit me, despite my lack of height.
ReplyDeleteHi there-I like the midi length as its not been in trend for a while, plus it looks great with boots too xx
ReplyDeleteI stick with knee-length or slightly above skirts these days. Being so short, I've learned that the longer ones just make me look dumpy.
ReplyDeletei can barely focus on the skirts... what is up with the godawful styling?
ReplyDeleteI'd happily take either, but for someone of my height I would have to wear heels with the midi. Zara appear to have a lovely camel one, too...
ReplyDeleteMrs Bossa - you spoil us! Now I'm in love with the Zara one too xx
ReplyDeleteDear Kate, I like them but neither of these would suit me. I'm better off with short/above the knee or full length xx
ReplyDeleteI don't like the long one with that particular top.
ReplyDeleteI like the bottom one, sadly can't wear skirts any longer.
