Moisture for less

Diprobase cream is a pot of magic that doesn't require a pot of gold to pay for it. When I need to seriously save money on beauty products I used to default to Aqueous cream which is even cheaper; but if you are going to go cheap then why not select the creme de la mer version of cheap and chic.

If you suffer with dry skin then this delivers. I use it on face and body but add an SP15 for face. I discovered it when petit garcon suffered dreadfully with eczema. I couldn't keep using his so was mightily pleased when after drawing a blank in the high street chemists I could order it online.

The perfect make do aid for your purse.

  3. This is my moisturiser ! Seriously ! I recommended it to Chic mama . Last year I had terrible problems with dry skin and my doctor prescribed it for me. Its the best moisturiser I have ever used so one year on and people still comment about my skin, also it doesn't congest it. Great tip x

  5. Sounds great - do you find it very heavy? I have dry skin but find a heavy mosturiser gives me terrible break outs!

  7. Sounds great! I use E45 a lot as all of a sudden last year my cheeks dried up and nearly fell off. Since then I've shied away from expensive smelly moisturisers but might have to give this one a shot. And the price is good too :)

  8. I love good products with low cost! Last month, for example, I bought a La roche posay mosture for the eye area and I confess I liked best my old L'oreal...and the L'oreal cost so much less...sometimes the prices are not the most important thing...

  9. I'm afraid I can't use diprobase!

I was a nurse for years and diprobase was the cream we used to put on incontinent old ladies bottoms as a barrier cream. That's not a mental association you forget lightly!

    Aqueous cream is good though!

  12. It's good - and definitely good for eczema/psoriasis sufferers - but it's tricky to use on an ongoing basis ..
